The "A" used an Eaton 700 transmission, while the "H" uses the Eaton 1100. If you have a can shaped coil you have a Battery ignition and you need an internally resisted coil. If it is a triangular shape it is a breaker less system. Posted March 7, 2021. Your mechanical fuel pump has a thin diaphragm between the fuel and your engine oil. If the diaphragm fails you will be pumping your engine full of gasoline. I would suggest you bypass the mechanical fuel pump, locate the electric pump lower than the fuel tank and run a wire with a fuse to the "A" terminal of you ignition ...

The plastic fender / seat pan was a big mistake on Wheel Horse's part. I found a metal seat pan from a C-160, and adapted it to the C-85. The bolt holes match up perfectly. I just had to enlarge the hole for the gas cap to 4" intead of the C-160's 3".
